Dimensions: 12 x 9 x 9
Media: Assembled found objects
Artist Statement : I am a sculptor but also a life-long environmentalist. I am intrigued with the idea of using reclaimed materials to make artwork. Within that refuse, I recognize the design qualities intended for practical function, but, taken our context, they become sculptural elements. A narrative dialogue emerges from these juxtapositions.

Where Did She Go?
Robin M Gilliam
$3,200.00

Dimensions: 32 x 32 x 1.5
Media: Mixed Media, found objects
Artist Statement : I'm a mixed media collage artist. I love acrylic paint, vintage paper and jewelry, packing materials, stencils, and especially rusty things and feathers found on my dog walks. I love to “junk” at estate sales, antique malls, and garage sales, looking for items that spark my imagination and creativity. I believe in upcycling materials to reduce waste and instead create art. I weave layers and layers of these mixed media items on canvas to create visual stories. Sometimes to work through life’s challenges and celebrate joys. Sometimes to spotlight a particular item. I enjoy adding charms, beads, chains, and other items that move and are interactive for the viewer. This piece was created to process the devastation of my mom's dementia and being forgotten.

MERRILYNE HENDRICKSON
$300.00

Dimensions: 27 x 13
Media: Watercolor/Mixed media
Artist Statement : My art is an exploration of the interplay between nature and my emotional response to it. It is a delicate balance between chaos and order, light and shadow, movement and calm. Drawing inspiration from (sea, sky) landscapes and the emotions they evoke. I strive to create art that glows with color resonating on a deeply personal level sharing an experience that connects and inspires reflection in those who encounter it.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity
Georgi
$6,950.00
Juror's Choice

Dimensions: 24 x 20 x 1
Media: Oil on canvas
Artist Statement : Painting is a depiction of the 39th president's humanitarian work legacy with Habitat for Humanity. The organization credits former President Carter and his late wife, Rosalynn Carter, as some of the biggest contributors to the organization both through fundraising and hands-on construction work. Former President Jimmy Carter started working with Habitat for Humanity nearly four decades ago. Even in his late 90s, Carter continued volunteering for the organization until the Carter Work Project was suspended on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Carter initiative resumed in 2023 after a three-year pause. On the reason he chose to work with Habitat for Humanity, Jimmy Carter said that the organization provides much more than just a home (via Habitat for Humanity). It's also an " ... avenue for people of different backgrounds to come together to achieve those most meaningful things in life," and to help people bond over " ... the building up of walls and the breaking down of barriers,

Fountain Light
Neal Kaske
$95.00

Dimensions: 5 x 3.5 x 3.5
Media: Spalted Walnut Tea Light. Wood finished with friction polish and wax.
Artist Statement : I strive to create pleasing, fictional, and sometimes surprising objects from wood, along with having fun in the process. Acquiring knowledge about the different kinds of wood and the skills needed to use wood turning tools is rewarding. I search for wood that engages one’s imagination upon viewing the turned results. The intriguing shapes of multi-axis items are especially gratifying to make and invite speculation on how they were crafted.

Leslie Kiefer
$450.00

Dimensions: 22 x 17
Media: Digital Archival Photograph
Artist Statement : I want to tell a love story—fate bringing two people together in a barroom brawl, two people who were well matched to support and love each other over the last 45 years. I want to show how love has rehabilitated both of us, in the face of death, struggle, anger and aging. From someone who felt trapped by difficult circumstances, I have now taken control of how I see myself and how others see me and my world. I want to let art carry part of the burden.
Into the Great Wide Open
Into the Great Wide Open
Cristine Kuckelman
$1,800.00

Dimensions: 37 x 49 x 2
Media: Layered acrylic mixed with various mediums to create textures.
Artist Statement : As an emerging abstract painter living and working outside of Washington, D.C. in Potomac, Maryland, I use nature as a vehicle for my creativity. I believe art should be tactile - drawing the collector into the piece itself in order to evoke an exchange of feelings and memories. In this case, "Into the Great Wide Open" was inspired by the great vastness of the horizon. It was created by layering acrylic with various mediums to create depth and texture to reflect the patterns found as the sky meets the earth.

Cicada Tree
Jonathan Mann
$250.00

Dimensions: 16 x 12

Growth Mode

Jessica McKinney-Land
$1,100.00

Dimensions: 36 x 36 x 1.5
Media: acrylic painting on canvas
Artist Statement : Flowers and the landscape are central subjects in my work — I just can’t shake being awe-struck and endlessly inspired by nature. Observation, expressive mark-making, and play are important to my process. As one of my largest paintings, I made leaps and bounds forward in this piece as I moved around the canvas. The challenge was to find a balance between the large sweeping marks to fill the size, while also adding detail interesting enough to examine up close.

Golden Calf
Lisa McKnight

Dimensions: 12 x 8.5
Media: Watercolor on paper, mounted on acid free foam board and protected with wax medium.
Artist Statement : These little birds are so chipper and I love hearing their cheery "chick-a-dee-dee-dee". They are so polite around the feeder - taking one seed and disappearing to eat it away from the others. This is a study of and a tribute to them
